Update to the Bruins and their awful weekend: they have relinquished the rights to the problem player--at least, supposedly, though he hasn't been put on waivers for the purpose yet, but Cam Neely, the team president, put out a (weak-ass, faux-pology) statement Sunday night and had a press conference Monday morning that was deeply BS (the tone was basically 'he can play hockey, how were we supposed to know people would care about that other stuff?'), but hopefully means we really won't need to see this guy in a Bruins jersey. Such a disaster all around.
And yes, I have a new phone! And am going crazy trying to figure out the many ways how it differs from the old one. I stayed within the Samsung Galaxy family, but going from a more than three-year-old A6 to an S22 is a jump, no getting around it. Perhaps I will write more about it when I'm less annoyed by it; right now, my thoughts are mostly "Now what's making a noise?" and "Why do you keep pushing video calling?" But the old one was getting cranky, so replacing it will have been a good thing. Eventually.
