Yesterday, my brother and I went for a walk on the beach. It wasn’t typical beach weather, but the light on the clouds and the water was beautiful. Can you see the group of birds in some of these photos?

ReplyDeleteThose shells: you know how so often they're chipped around the edges and have a hole in them? My daughter did a marine biology internship, and she said they're the favorite food of sea stars--so if one is coming at them, they put their single foot out and flip themselves down the beach to get away (there's the chipping) and the sea star, if it gets it, dissolves a hole through the shell to slurp up the insides. She said watching them flip themselves was the funnies thing ever. Bloop!
