Which Are You In?
Ah, XKCD, that's it.
I have nothing against the game or those who play it. But I'm in the control group.
The inventor's name was Wardle and he created Wordle for his partner as a personal thing. When it took off like crazy he ended up selling it for, they said, low seven figures, and I bet he made his partner happy!
I avoided it too till I finally decided I wanted to at least see what it was. Instantly hooked. And the thing is, you don't waste the day sitting around playing the game because there's only one round offered each day and you can't (as far as I see) go back and play all the rounds from when it started up in the fall. One and done and you go on with your day.
I am firmly in the Wordle group. It's so satisfying!
ReplyDeleteDo you remember the game show Lingo? Wordle is just Lingo. That is all.
ReplyDeleteHA! I love this. Will have to share it with my non-Wordle-playing spouse.
