What I'd Like To Be

I'd like to be appreciating the first, early signs of Spring. Buds! Blossoms!

I'd like to be sorting through photos, choosing how to show you my weekend. Flowers, cards, food, family.

I'd like to have a way to send Harold to my mother for the evening, to give her purring comfort.

I'd like to not be so far away, to not feel so helpless, to not be so worried.

But there we are.

  1. Your felted hearts were a big hit with the chemo crowd I know. How about sending some to your mom and maybe some of the knitted spring flowers like you did for your gramma? They have the benefit of keeping your hands busy as you worry, are quick to do, and give your mom some tangible love in the mail.

Prayers and hugs for you and yours.

p.s. are you implying Miri isn't a cuddly, love fluff?
