A Question of Tastes
I took a picture of a house recently. Architecturally, it's the kind of thing I like, if not my absolute favorite example (what, no turret?).
I like it either in black and white:

However, in actual color, it makes me wince.
Too much. Too bright. I think it's the green accents that push it too far, for me. What do you think?

Well, the old Victorian houses were called Painted Ladies for a reason! The bright paint jobs are traditional. I wouldn't go for that particular color combination, though.
