So, yeah. We're (mostly) fine here, but there have been Things.
- Like Mom was just in the hospital for five days, and is home now and slowly getting better but yeah.
- Things. Like my brother arrives Saturday, which is a good thing, but still a thing I need to get ready for.
- Yeah. Mostly that. Just a lot of things within those things.
Overall, fine! But posting might be light for a bit.
Each of these things contains another huge list of to-dos and complications. I hope everything goes well!
ReplyDeleteThey do! Things are getting done, but there are always more things, aren't there.
DeleteA gentle hug to all of you from here and I'm glad she got to go home and that he's coming. Saturday is supposed to be the one day out of seven where it won't be raining like crazy, so that should make travel, at least, a little easier for him.
ReplyDeleteHugs. I'm so sorry about your mom's hospital stay and even though the visit will be fun, it's still overwhelming and yet another thing to do.
ReplyDeleteIt kind of is, yeah. But it will be nice to hang out with him.
DeleteOh dear, I am sorry to hear about your mom's hospital stay! And then having family in town can make things more complicated!
ReplyDeleteThank you! Yeah, we aren't going to be doing much, but that's okay.
DeleteSo many Things. I hope your brother's stay will help share the load, and that your mother feels much better at home now. Take good care of yourself.
ReplyDeleteShe is so happy to be home! Hospitals are just such a thing.
DeleteUg, so sorry about your Mom. Also good luck getting ready for your brother's visit; I know it can be hard to have guests, even when you love them. On a good note, I love your clip art and that is one of my favorite movies....anybody want a peanut? I do not think that words means what you think it means!
ReplyDeleteI love the movie! So many lines from that pop into my head, all the time.
DeleteOh, no! I hate it when life throws everything at me all at once. You will get through this!
ReplyDeleteThank you! Yes, I keep telling myself that. I will!
DeleteThank you! I didn't want to leave the blog hanging, but woo, busy here.
ReplyDeleteHugs, friend. That's a lot to deal with. I hope your mom continues to recover from her hospital stay. <3
