Hotel Living
We made it to the east coast, which will hopefully be just bad weather, not full hurricane force.
When we were ready to leave, she was under the middle of my bed---I had to lure her out with a treat! But of course she wouldn't have been happy there alone.
I keep imagining the storm just veering off and staying in the ocean and not going near land, but I don't think that's going to happen. I'm glad you're all safe and fingers crossed for your home!
Glad you're safe and hope that the storm diminishes in strength and veers toward the open ocean. I have been checking the news constantly; I think after Helene, this storm has an extra ominous feeling. Stay safe <3
Glad you're in a safe area! Kitties don't like change.
ReplyDeleteNo, they don't! But she's settling in pretty well.
DeleteSo glad to hear it. Extra pets and treats to Maggie from me.
ReplyDeleteI am so glad you are doing okay! Fingers crossed that everyone stays safe and mostly dry!
ReplyDeleteSo far, so good!
DeleteOh, Maggie. You'd have been waaaay more unhappy back home.

DeleteI'm so glad you're safe there!
ReplyDeleteThank you! It was the right call for us.
DeleteI can't stop watching the weather and hoping the storm weakens. Glad you are somewhere safe (hopefully), sorry that it's distressing for poor Maggie.
ReplyDeleteIt's gotten a little weaker but much bigger, which isn't a great trade-off. But what can you do?

ReplyDeleteYou're an optimist, Engie! Thanks for the good wishes.

ReplyDeleteIt feels terribly ominous! And for the Tampa area, which is still cleaning up after Helene, just terrible to get hit again, even worse, so soon.
DeleteGlad you are safe <3
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteJust sent you an email. Glad to hear that you're safe. That's the important thing! Next up- how is your home? Please let us know!
