So this was unexpected. I’m not sure why Clinique is advertising makeup for Father's Day, but okay!
I mean, my dad wouldn't have, but some dads do, I suppose. It certainly got my attention, which is what an ad wants! And made me laugh, which even (holy cow) 17 years after my dad died, is something new from father's day ads.
I've seen bras advertised for Father's Day. I love Clinique lipstick although they've discontinued my favorite color, Harvest Moon. I don't know what I'll do next!

ReplyDeleteIs that blue eyeshadow? Is that...a thing? I don't think dad wants to wear blue shadow or for you to wear it, either.
ReplyDeleteMy dad certainly wouldn't have wanted it! But I suppose there could be dads who do. Doesn't seem like it would be enough of an audience to advertise to, though.
