My grandmother died this morning. She was 105 in April, and still hanging on until just recently, when she declined fairly rapidly. She was more than ready to go, and we are sad but not shocked.
We'll be going up for the funeral and all, and I'm not sure how long it will be before I'm back and able to write here, but I wanted to let you know.
I mostly knit, sometimes crochet or cross-stitch. I read, a lot. I love cats. I love hockey, especially my no-longer-local team, the Boston Bruins. Want more? Read on.
I am so sorry for your and your mother's loss. It's always tough but from experience I can tell you that frequently older people take the loss of a parent with great difficulty. I'm glad for your mom that you're living with her now. She'll need you.
