My brother left Saturday afternoon, and I've been trying to get myself back into the groove ever since. Not that his visit was a problem! But to go from 10 days off to working again, that's never going to go smoothly for me.
Ugh, alarm...I'll share some photos I took during the week later, but here are a couple from today.
One, I saw this cyb3rtruck today and absolutely wheezed laughing.
The color of tomato soup! Ha! That might be better than the baby blue one.I also saw this lovely great egret, bobbing in a bush in the wind.
And, of course, plenty of Newman being adorable over the last few days.
He has discovered the top of the little cat tree on the table, and he likes it. Which is nice to see.
I'm looking forward to getting my holiday cards in the mail. I got my first one yesterday: thanks, Nicole!

Aww, Newman will help you get back into the swing of things!
ReplyDeleteHe's doing his best to keep me in the moment.
DeleteI always found the transition from being off to working a tough one. (both physically and mentally) Newman is definitely very much at home!
ReplyDeleteHe is very much feeling at home!
DeleteIt's hard to go from being with company you love to being without their presence. Glad you got a good visit in. And Newman is a delight.
ReplyDelete(Sorry, thought I caught that auto-anonymous.)
ReplyDeleteYay! It arrived! I was panicking in case there was another strike but it seems like things are moving smoothly in the mail department.
ReplyDeleteI hope the strike stays away. At least long enough for you to send---and receive!---some cards.
DeleteCybertrucks are so godawful. I really don't get the attraction at all.
ReplyDeleteNewman's whole body just screams CUDDLES, PLEASE! He is one terrific cat.
They're so awful that they're funny. They look like someone started a design and stopped 20 steps too soon. They look like a mock-up and not a finished product.
