Hotel Living

We made it to the east coast, which will hopefully be just bad weather, not full hurricane force.

Someone is not a fan.

But we’re safe.

  1. Glad you're in a safe area! Kitties don't like change.

    1. When we were ready to leave, she was under the middle of my bed---I had to lure her out with a treat! But of course she wouldn't have been happy there alone.

  6. I can't stop watching the weather and hoping the storm weakens. Glad you are somewhere safe (hopefully), sorry that it's distressing for poor Maggie.

    1. It's gotten a little weaker but much bigger, which isn't a great trade-off. But what can you do?

  7. I keep imagining the storm just veering off and staying in the ocean and not going near land, but I don't think that's going to happen. I'm glad you're all safe and fingers crossed for your home!

  8. Glad you're safe and hope that the storm diminishes in strength and veers toward the open ocean. I have been checking the news constantly; I think after Helene, this storm has an extra ominous feeling. Stay safe <3

    1. It feels terribly ominous! And for the Tampa area, which is still cleaning up after Helene, just terrible to get hit again, even worse, so soon.
