Where in hell did I put the holiday cards, when I was tidying up for my brother's visit. Where are they?
Okay, I've been looking for days, but apparently it took planning to blog about it to made them come out. Good grief. I am so tired.
Now I just have to find the holiday stamps. Sigh.
That's why tidying up can be so dangerous! I never remember where I put things because I'm in a hurry and not thinking, plus I'm hiding them out of sight. Even from me! Glad you figured it out.
ReplyDeleteThe more frantic I get to finish, the more likely I am to stick things in the oddest places. I would love a dedicated guest room, but I'm not going to *not* use this room 51 weeks a year.
DeleteDid you hear that "oh good it's not just me" from here? I'm not good at sending out cards, but of my three closest friends from way back in high school, one got diagnosed with Parkinson's this year, one with breast cancer (caught early) and the third has been living with Parkinson's since age 38 and the last always gets a card and the other two will, too. Bought some. Lovepop, no less. Misplaced them in a company's coming rush. Found them again yesterday (phew!)
ReplyDeleteHope you had a wonderful, wonderful visit with your brother.
Well, my holiday cards are in a pile on my desk, unsent because Canada Post is on strike. At this rate you'll get yours in July. Hope you like holiday cheer six months late! LolololSOB
ReplyDeleteI hate the strike for you! But I know I will be delighted to get cards any time. Spread out the celebration, I say.
DeleteHere's to all of you who still go through the ritual of the holiday card and enjoy it. I retired from that a long time ago because I found that I simply didn't and saw it as a chore. No Cmas Spirit in that!
ReplyDeleteIt's good to stop if you don't want to do it! I skipped a year, and decided, no, it is worth it to me. But I don't keep track of who sends me one. I'm happy to get any "real" mail.
DeleteNo holiday stamps for me. Just flags. I WILL NOT MAKE ANOTHER TRIP TO THE POST OFFICE.
ReplyDeleteI ordered them, Engie! No lines was worth the small fee. But they came when my brother was here, so I wasn't sure if it would be another killer search. Fortunately they surfaced pretty easily.
