I mostly knit, sometimes crochet or cross-stitch. I read, a lot. I love cats. I love hockey, especially my no-longer-local team, the Boston Bruins. Want more? Read on.

DeleteWe spend our whole lives learning to see that way. It's in the looking back that you get to see most clearly how things worked out okay. If I had not been hit with lupus at 31 I would never have read Norman Cousin's book, would never have seen the acute need for the creative outlet and quite likely would never have returned to my high school hobby of knitting. And I would never have learned how important it was to me to knit for others. That you could make love visible and tangible.
