I went to Pride today and had a lot of fun, plenty more to come on that, but I was just reading a book that mentioned baked ziti and had a craving. Does anyone have a tried and true recipe? Not that it’s complicated, but I haven’t made it in a million years. Thanks in advance! Cat photo in payment.
I'm reading this when I should be going off to bed, so for you now you get the quickest one I can think of off the top of my head. Peanut butter cookies that actually taste like peanuts.
ReplyDeleteOne cup of peanut butter (preferably not the peanuts-only type).
Once cup of sugar.
One egg.
That's it. Will not spread. Put cookie sizes on cookie sheet at 350 or 325 if you prefer and bake till they smell done, maybe ten minutes. If you want it crisper around the edges, add a tablespoon or even two (at most) of flour to it. Will be soft on the inside and chewycrisp at the edges.
(One not once cup of sugar, of course.)
